West Hull defeated a very lack lustered Hull Wyke team who did not seem to be singing from the same song sheet at times.
Wyke really never showed the desire that has won them plaudits from other teams coaches. Wykes line speed was poor and the defensive line never moved up together, which created too much time and room for a very good West Hull team to exploit. 1st half trys from Alfie Broadbent,Harry Gunn Mclean, Ben Stutely and Jack Offen saw Wyke trailing 5-4 at the interval. Things never got any better in the second half and 2nd trys for Jack Offen and Ben Stutely,were not enough as West Hull ran in 4 more trys to end the night 9-6 winners.
