Both teams had won 1 game each at earlier meetings this season so no team was going to get beat. Skirlugh opened the scoring in the first minute on their first, only for Wyke to reply a minute later through Sam Clark. Skirlugh scored again in their next set only for Harry Gunn Mclean to score for Wyke his second try in 2 games since returning from his broken arm. Again Skirlugh take the lead and again Wyke respond through Keiran Wall with a good strech for the try line. Skirlugh make it 4-3 and once again Wyke comeback this time through Charlie Weeks with a strong run around the bulls defence. Wyke then keep the bulls out and take the lead when Sam Mcauley goes over for his first of 4 trys of the night. The bulls come back and level the match at half time.
HALF TIME SKIRLUGH BULLS 5
HULL WYKE 5
The 2nd half saw much of the same as both teams ran the ball forward hard and tackled even harder. Sam Mcauley grabbed his 2nd of the night after good metres from Tyler Conroy. Sam Mcauley then grabbed a 3rd try on 22 minutes scooting from dummy half after Sam Clarke was judged to be tackled short of the line but the video clearly shows the ball on the line. Sam Mcauley then finished the scoring for Wyke on 26 minutes with another scoot from dummy half. Skirlugh also scored 3 great trys in the 2nd half as the match ended 8-8 which was a fair results with both teams putting everything in attack and defense. We applaud both teams for putting on a great match for us to watch
