But after a quick dash to the right venue and not much time to prepare Wyke kept Dockers out for their set of 6. Wykes first try came on 3 minutes through Charlie Weeks, good metres made from Tyler Conroy to gain field position, and the ball was passed through hands for Charlie to arc a nice run into the corner.Nathan Magee made it 2-0 on 7 minutes with a strong run down the wing.Sam Clark scored on 9 minutes after Jack Offen ran across the pitch and passed to Sam Clark for him to run back the other way leaving Dockers flat footed.Dockers responded on 10 minutes with a try of thier own with a flowing passing move. Then on the stroke of half time Nathan Magee grabbed his 2nd try of the night with a good strong solid run down the middle.
HALF TIME--DOCKERS 1 - HULL WYKE 4
The second half saw Dockers score first as they began to move the ball about and looked a better team than the first half.On 20 minutes Keiran Wall scored my favorite try of the night as the ball was transfered through Jack Offen,Alfie Broadbent,Tyler Conroy and Sam Mcauley before Keiran charged over.Wyke were made to defend, and a high tackle from the smallest guy on the pitch Sam Mcauley on one of their bigger players brought the game to a stop while the Dockers player recieved treatment. At the restart Dockers pressure paid off as they scored thier 3rd try of the night.Wyke reponded from the restart through Ben Stutely after good metres from Sam Clark and Alfie Broadbent set up good feild position, Sam Mcauley ran it to 1 metre of the try line to be stopped by 4 defenders. At the resulting play the ball Ben Stutely found a gap and went over in the corner.
