Hull Wyke v Cottingham Tigers under 8s 3/9/14

Hull Wyke under 8s entertained Cottingham tigers under 8s at Cropton road on a great night for rugby league. Cottingham started well with some big runs from there big forwards, but the Wyke pack held their own, with big tackles from Jack Lawler, Ashton Booth and Will Kirby. Wyke then started to dominate with big runs up the pitch from Jay Kirby, Finn Rebera, and Seb Hawtree. This set up Elliot Johnson up for the first of his 3 trys (which I think is Elliots first hat trick well done Elliot). The strong running continued with runs from James Farrar who we asked to lay as a forward which set the platform for Ben Johnson to send a great ball to Lennie Clark who went in in the corner. This was followed by 2 quick trys from Jacob Hill, and a great break from James Farrar who unselfishly passed to Dylan Yeaman who scored another try. Then it was time for try of the day which went to Joe Wood who scooted past everyone for a length of the field try. Well done again boys see you all at training on Saturday.
