Team work was the name of the game with 7 different try scorers meaning every registered member of the 2014 squad has scored a try which is an achievement in its self.
Hull Wyke started at a fast pace with barnstorming runs from Jack Lawler and Elliot Johnson which set Lennie Clark up to go over for the first of his 4 tries.
Joe Wood then managed to side step some East Hull defence to put us in a strong position.
Wyke capatalised on this by scoring 2 quick tries from Will Kirby and James Farrar.
Wyke's half backs then started to take hold of the game East Hull didn’t know if Ben Johnson or James Farrar were going to pass or run, Jacob Hill scored 2 tries either side of half time with 2 passes off both half backs.
Ashton Booth started to get the forwards running a good pace making them get the ball on the advantage line Finlay Rebera took advantage of this to make great yards down the middle.
Dylan Yeaman then went over for his first try of the year (although I bet it wont be his last) after he backed up superbly a Ben Johnson break.
Just a quick mention must go to the tackling of the team especially Elliot Johnson and Jacob Hill who worked well together and line speed was great.
The game finished with a try for Ashton Booth who is becoming a regular on the score sheet.
Good team work again this week boys.
A special mention goes to Jay Kirby who came to cheer his team mates on even though he wasn’t well enough to play.
