Hull Wyke v Cottingham Tigers under 8s 24/6/14

Hull Wyke under 8s turned up to a sunny hilltop ground determined to stick to our pre match gameplan.

The game started with some barnstorming runs from Elliot Johnson and Jay Kirby quickly followed by some fantastic pivot play from Ben Johnson which resulted in a great try by Seb Hawtree.

The game continued in the same fashion with great drives from Liam Wilkinson and lennon Clark the later scoring a near full length try.

A well drilled Cottingham team then started to come into the game but was held by good tackling from Dylan Yeaman and Ashton Booth.

Hull Wyke then started to dominate with quick trys from James Farrar x2, Ben Johnson, Will Kirby and Joseph Wood.

Special mention must go to Jacob Hill as he scored his first try and what a try it was.
