Hull Wyke turned up to Dockers ground on a perfect night for rugby. The forwards Jay Kirby and Jack Lawler set the platform at the start of the game for the backs to work off.
James Farrar scored the first of his three tries off this strong running which was continued by man of the match William Kirby and Elliot Johnson who pushed Will very hard for the man of the match award.
At the end of the first half a very well organised dockers team (lead by there number 9 who had a great game) pressured the Wyke line but the lads proved they had been listening to the coaches by some great line defence led by Sebastien Hawtree and Joseph Wood.
In the second half Wyke really started to play some rugby led by pivot Ben Johnson which resulted in a move which went through 10 pairs of hands with Liam Wilkinson touching it twice.
This set up Lennon Clark for the last of his four tries. Of course none of this would have been possible without quick balls from the dummy halfs Ashton Booth and Dylan Yeaman, who are both learning our calls and getting better every week.
Dockers pressured in the second half but struggled to get round Jacob Hill who is proving to be an asset with his tackling and running. After that defence wyke made some hard yards up the field by Finlay Rebera whose confidence must be high after his start to the season.
The second half finished by Wyke scoring three tries by Elliot Johnson, Liam Wilkinson and William Kirby.
A great effort boys all coaches are very happy with that performance lets keep it up.
