Hull Wyke 12's were hoping a good team performance would net them a win against a team that has had the wood over them for several years now.
The Tigers arrived at Cropton weakened due to several absentees but still a force to be reckoned with.
Straight from the kickoff, Wyke looked like a team on a mission and completely dominated The Tigers in both attack and defence.
They scored nine tries and six goals in all and it started early and continued throughout the match.
Captain Driver showed lethal finishing ability with a hat trick. Broom bagged himself two tries with a top performance.
Addison and Train who were both outstanding in attack and defence grabbed themselves a touch down each.
Cone and Marhino joined in with excellent games, topped off with a try each.
Addison banged over four goals with one each for Johnson and Plummer.
Once again the half backs Mennell and Johnson worked well and improved communication among themselves, helped when dictating the play and direction for the team.
The whole team deserve credit for a top effort.
Special mentions for Hawes,Plummer,Spurgeon,Thomas,Gillespie,Dalo,Smith,Mitchell and
Kneeshaw. These lads may not have got across the whitewash but they put in a great shift to make sure their team mates did.
Credit also to The Tigers who although well beaten never gave in and fought right to the end.
