On a barmy warm Summer evening the lads went back to Longcroft School the place of there first foray into Rugby League.
The opposition was a familiar foe having been played before, and the whistle blew and battle commenced. The play ebbed and flowed until a breakout was accomplished by Hayworth Park, as a solo effort struck snaking around the what appeared to be the full width and length of the pitch.
Hull Wyke received the ball and through their set of six tried to break the Hayworth Park defence but their attempts were rebuffed at the line. The play then took the centre ground for the next few cycles, until Hayworth Park broke free and scored again.
This was repeated a few times, and Hayworth Park emerged victorious winning by 6 tries to 1.
The consolation try was scored by Jack Collins
The Man of the Match was given to Sonny Cooper.
The Best Effort Award was given to Leon Eddson.
