Wyke C only just lose out

The game between these two sides was evenly matched, and the balance of power shifted with each set of six. Each team making the most of their possession, progressing up the field to score, or fail within sight of the try line through hard tackles made by both teams.
The Hull Wyke line was severed on occasion by West Hull darting runs which out flanked the defensive line and allowed a clear run up the field to the try line.
