The weather changed and so did the pitch size, the pitch being more what the lads are use to but boy was it cold.
The kick off was Hull Wyke’s and the lads pressed home the advantage and with their first six they got close to the East Hull try line only to be thwarted by a good defensive line. The ball was handed to East Hull and they broke out from their own line and scored as they exploited the gaps in the Hull Wyke defence. The exchanges that followed were evenly matched and at half time it was 5 tries to 3 for East Hull.
The second half repeated much of the first with the ground being gained during Hull Wyke possession, being lost to East Hull as they carved their way through the gaps in the defence. East Hull managed to move the ball between tackles, and quickly restart the game at break downs to enable a 8 tries to 5 victory.
