Warm weather training at sunny Fraisthorpe

Due to rearranged training day the U8’s moved from a Saturday to Monday.

They made best use of Family time and training time by having a day at Fraisthorpe beach. The weather was bright and sunny and along with many holiday makers headed for the coast. The Wyke team set up camp with wind breaks, tents, blankets and chairs and made its own Bedouin oasis.

The session kicked off with light refreshment and onto the fun and games with help from some of the U14’s and the parents. The emphasis was on fun and with a decreasing playing area as the tide came in quick hands was the way to play.

With the tide getting the better of them they moved back to the camp to wish Sebastien Hawtree a happy 8th Birthday and finish the picnics everyone had brought. To round off a warm and fun day for everyone the boys then went into the sea! For a final play in the sun.

Thanks to everyone for a fun day and making Seb’s Birthday that little bit different.
