Hull Wyke v Holderness Vikings under 9s 29/4/15

Hull Wyke started their second home game of the season well but it was the Vikings who scored first. Wyke came back with a quick try from Jack Lawler followed quickly with some brutal defence from Lennie Clark, Ashton Booth and Elliot Johnson. Wyke were quick up the field again with big drives from Fin Chapman, Jay Kirby, and Jacob Hill. Two more quick tries followed by Ben Johnson and James Farrar. Holderness then made some good yards up the pitch but was foiled by good tackling on the wings from Sebastien Hawtree and Joe wood. Ryan Hall again was a tackling machine right through this game and one big tackle from him dislodged the ball allowing us to play the ball and Lennie Clark to score. Two tries in two minutes from Elliot Johnson and James Farrar supplied by Ben Johnson. Both tries were very well finished.

In the second half Dylan Yeaman stepped in at dummy half and did a great job passing to will Kirby Kirby who scored in the corner which was the first of two tries in a man of the match performance. Will then passed to Sebastien Hawtree who spun out the tackle and finished well for the first of his two tries to cap a great performance by him. Issac Craven then came on for a good stint in only his second game. The game was finished with a try each for James and Ben. Well done today boys a good attitude by all see you at the KC on Friday.
